Hunter Community College Tutor – Joel Howlett

Joel Howlett is a full time professional Magician, Juggler and Speaker who performs all over Australia at both private and corporate events. His love of performing started at the age of just six years old and since that time he has entertained audiences of all ages at live events, on TV and on stage at the Rivera Casino Las Vegas! Joel also holds a “Doctor of Magic“ certificate awarded to him by the “International Magicians Society“. Joel has a youthful enthusiasm and a true passion for his performances and courses. His background in drama and his large selection of performance options has helped make him one of the busiest magicians in Australia!

Through the Hunter Community College Joel has been known to run unique courses that have been attended and enjoyed by participants of all ages. Students for previous courses have been Seniors, Business professionals, school children, teachers and young adults who have always ENJOYED A FUN night of learning and the courses always receive positive feedback.

Courses regularly offered are:

• “Expert At The Card Table“ – A full 2 hour program where you will learn “Card Shuffles“, “Card Tricks“ and a little bit about the “History Of Playing Cards“. You could be the Star of your next Poker Night. A must for all serious card players / dealers. This is the only course of its kind offered anywhere!
• “Balloon Fun“ – Learn how to make over 7 different balloon animals. A complete HANDS ON 2 hour course with take home balloons and booklets supplied!
• “Magical Fun” – Learn basic tricks and puzzles with household items. A 4 hour course run over 2 nights!
